Completed as part of the MA Education, Policy & Society programme at King's College London, this research explores the relationship between media discourse, education policy and the educational experiences of Black and ethnic minority students in England between 2017 and 2025.

The study examines how representations of race, behaviour and achievement are constructed within media and policy contexts, and considers the implications these narratives may have for educational equity, social mobility and student outcomes.
